Banate, Iloilo – In order to capacitate and enhance their skills acquired during the training and series of monitoring and individual assessment, AMIA Village Farmer-beneficiaries of Babuyang Walang Amoy and Native Pig Production Technology conducted benchmarking activities in the farms of Ms. Lea Deala (Regional Search for Outstanding Rural Women Winner 2016) at Deala’s Integrated Farm, Dingle Iloilo and Ms. Connie Carillo (Regional Search for Outstanding Rural Women Winner 2018) at Connie Carillo’s Diversified Farm at Bingawan Iloilo (July 18, 2018). The activity was made possible through collaborative efforts exerted by the AMIA Team led by Ms. Carmelita C. Fantilanan-AMIA Village Project Leader, Ms. Rosemarie E. Peñaflor-Asst. Project Leader, Jhel Giner and Allen Fortit – Research Assistants partnered by the very active Municipal Agriculturist of Banate, Iloilo, Ms. Ma. Luz M. Ferrer and Mr. Sanly Galvez – Agricultural Technologist.
