The DA Climate Resilient Agriculture Office (CRAO), together with the DA-Field Operation Services (FOS) and DA-Planning and Monitoring Service (PMS), recently hosted a meeting with representatives from National and Sectoral NDC Implementation Plan (NDCIP) Technical Expert Team, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Climate Change Commission (CCC), and NDC Partnership to discuss the latest updates related to the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Implementation and Financial Plan.

The meeting, which was held last August 30, 2023, discussed the program’s several areas of investments in agricultural innovations, and practices to reduce carbon emissions and lessen the negative effects of climate change on Philippine agriculture.
DA CRAO Dir. Alicia G. Ilaga spearheaded the meeting together with DA FOS Officer-In-Charge (OIC)-Director Mr. U-Nichols A. Manalo and DA PMS OIC-Dir. Mike Sollera. Present during the meeting were the NDCIP Technical Expert Team, Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) Expert-Ms. Kyoko Tochikawa, and Climate Finance Expert-Vlad Olievschi; ADB Project Manager-Kriselda delos Santos, representatives from Climate Change Commission Jerika Rivero and Jesper Nepomuceno, and NDC Partnership-Philippines Facilitator, Joyceline Goco.
