Sta. Victoria, Lucban, Isabela — The on-going construction of the first-ever AMIA Organic Greenhouse. This will also serve as the nursery for cacao and coffee seedlings and production of vegetable seedlings located at Santa Victoria, Ilagan City, Isabela.

The Barangay Local Government Unit of Santa Victoria enacted the Barangay Ordinances to support the Greenhouse project.

Said project was made possible thru the DA-RFO 02 High-Value Crops Development Program. This project was identified as one of the possible interventions during the conduct of Participatory
Rural Appraisal in said barangay. This aims to strengthen the greening program of Barangay Santa Victoria and its nearby barangays.

This also supports the watershed development program of DA-RFO 02 where AMIA Village at Lucban, Benito Soliven will be one of the recipients. The watershed of Lucban Small Water Impounding Project (SWIP) is being protected thru planting of various fruit-bearing trees and other industrial crops.

The construction started last July 23, 2018. It will take up to 10 days to complete the greenhouse construction.

Aside from the first-ever organic greenhouse, the DA RFO2 also conducted a site validation in the proposed AMIA Village Citrus Plantation/ Foundation Grove that will also support the Greenhouse established by the HVCD Program.
